Ensign
Power Systems, Inc. was established in 1995 by Bill
Harris and Larry Choate. Their goal was to provide customers with Products and Solutions through power supply design,
test, analysis, and manufacturing, always focusing on the highest levels of Quality and Reliability.
Bill and Larry were previously employed by
a military power supply company in Boulder, Colorado that was known for
its quality in both design and manufacturing. When the Boulder company was
sold in October of 1995, Bill and Larry chose to remain in beautiful Colorado
and start a new business, Ensign Power Systems, Inc. In 2005 and 2007 respectivley, Dan Danowski and Dave McMurtrey became partners in the business.
In addition to its in-house resources, the company has established working
relationships with many local supply, assembly,
and test organizations.
Ensign is also established as a value added reseller,
as well as a full custom power supply design facility through value added
design. Ensign can provide turnkey, custom power solutions through application
specific utilization of off-the-shelf sub assemblies.
